Discover the Underwater World of Playa del Carmen
Scuba Libre opened its first dive shop in Playa del Carmen in 1998 and has grown into four local locations: Downtown, Sandos Caracol Eco Resort, Sandos Playacar Resort and Palmaia House of AiA.
The team offers PADI courses, local reef dives, cenote dives, Cozumel trips, snorkeling and water activities, with professional instructors, captains and staff who know the Riviera Maya waters well.

A first scuba experience for people who want to try breathing underwater before committing to a full certification course. Good for beginners who want an instructor-guided introduction.
The first full scuba certification level. This course is for new divers who want the knowledge and in-water skills to continue diving at home or while traveling.
Two local reef dives from Playa del Carmen for certified divers, with sites chosen according to conditions. Possible areas include Barracuda, Sabalos, Tortugas, Punta Venado, Mama Vina, Los Arcos, Cerebros, Pared Verde, Moc-Che, Jardines and Chun-Zumbul.
