Non-divers Welcome
Snorkeling Tours in Playa del Carmen
Snorkeling is the easy water option for families, non-divers and mixed groups who want to enjoy the Caribbean without taking a scuba course. The reef trip leaves by boat from the beach in front of the shop and is guided from start to finish.
What the Reef Snorkel Is Like
After check-in, the reef snorkeling trip starts with a short boat ride to the reef. Once on site, the guide gives a briefing, helps the group get organized and leads the snorkeling session over the coral reef.
The reef can include turtles, barracudas, moray eels, rays and colorful fish, depending on the day. The standard reef snorkel takes about two hours, with roughly 50 minutes in the water plus time for the boat ride and briefing.
For small groups that want more privacy, a private boat option is available for up to six people.
