Cozumel is the easy add-on when you want a different diving day from Playa del Carmen reefs. The multi-day packages are better when you want variety across the trip and already know you want more than one dive day.
For a short trip, two-day packages keep things simple. For a dive-focused vacation, the three-, four- and five-day packages spread the diving between Playa, cenotes and Cozumel.
If one person in the group is newer or has not dived recently, ask which package makes the most sense before booking. The right order of dives matters.
